Alor Expedition 7D/6N
Day 1
- Pick up at the airport
- Visit Takpala traditional village where the villagers still live with no modern technology & electricity. We will see the Abui tribe culture and ceremonies here.
- Continue to Tuti Adagae hotspring 
- Drive and sail to Kepa island to stay in Eco-resort
Day 2
- Today we're going to islands hopping and explore the Pantar strait Marine Park. Start with explore Pura island that known as the best diving and snorkelling spots.
- Then we will land in Pura island, we will learn how to make various products of cane works from the Pura people, visit local breweries where the Pura people make liquor from Lontar tree (a kind of palm tree), and even learn how the locals put the eco-friendly fish traps. If we're lucky, the villagers will provide us with lobsters for lunch
- Then continue to Ternate island where there are so many snorkelling spots, all the women in the village of Omapura weave Ikat fabric
- If time allow us, we can explore Buaya island 
- Return to Eco-resort
Day 3
- Sail to Lingal beach that is blessed with crystal clear water and small hill where you can see beautiful view from above
- Continue to Kangge island and Lapang island. We can see the traditional seaweed farms and learn how to make artificial reef from the fishermen. If we're lucky, we can see dolphins on the way here, giant pelicans and whalesharks are also common here.
- We also can visits 2 schools by the beach that still need more books (study subjects and reading materials) as well as science demonstration tools. 
- Return to Eco-resort
Day 4
- Visit Kampong Hula to see the making of organic Ikat with traditional process. The weavers here had won several awards as the founders of 120 organic colourings from marine animals and plants.
- Visit Babussholah mosque to see the ancient Koran from the 15th century that was brought from Ternate island in Moluccas
- Visit a woodcarving workshop and antique shop of Bapa Anwar, you're welcome to shop directly from him
- Visit Bampalola traditional village, a bit trekking about 30 minutes
- Stay overnight in Sebanjar bungalow/ Eco-resort
Day 5
- After breakfast, we can drive to Mali beach then take a boat to Sika island where the Dugongs live in the waters of Sika island. Afterwards we can explore Sika island. This is a conservation restricted area and we need special permit to do this, but we can arrange it for you because we are Signing Blue member - a certified responsible marine tour operators program by World Wide Fund.
Please notice that the schedule for Dugong watching is subject to change depends on the high tide time, so we can change it to other day if the tide time is not suitable for our schedule. The maximum time to observe the Dugongs are 60 minutes.
- Visit Queen beach and Batu Putih beach
- Overnight in Kalabahi town
Day 6
- Visit 1000 Moko Museum to see the ancient history and artefacts of Alorese
- Visit Monbang traditional village to see the rituals of Kabola tribe, we also can see the coffee, candlenuts and cocoa plantation here.
- Visit Buiko beach and Maimol beach
- Visit Kadelang traditional market and see the uniqueness of local products
- Overnight in Kalabahi town
Day 7
- Went to Buiko beach and learn how to plant mangrove. Then prepare to go to the airport
- Drop off at the airport.

MALA stands for our company name, Mandiri Alor Lestari Alam (Independent Alor & Sustainable Nature). The name resembles our strong commitment to promote Alor and eastern Indonesia tourism while preserving the nature and culture of the communities. We are three women that committed to develop ecotourism and preserving culture. We are Melissa, Mika, Isye and many more local staff.

We have ecotours, adventure tours, diving tours, photography tours and Ikat making class as well as cultural events. Every trip or tour packages that we provide is assisted by a English and German speaking guide according to you need. For diving and snorkeling trips, we currently in partnership with three reputable local diving operators that operate in Alor & have been experienced in handling small or big diver groups, not to mention many professional underwater photographers that frequently visit Alor.
